Phnom Penh, Cambodia Business Coalition on AIDS (CBCA) conducted a training of trainers on HIV/AIDS for the HIV/AIDS Committee members of Vattanac bank on december 14, 2011 at Vattanac bank's office. fifteen participants who mostly are HIV/AIDS committee members attended the trining. The purpose of the training was to build capacity and support HIV/AIDS Committee members on the creation of an appropriate policy and design a specific program and activities related to HIV/AIDS for their respective workplace. Big Health Promotion Event

Cambodia Business Coalition On AIDS organized the Big Health Promotion Event at GDM Enterprize Co., Ltd on 20th November 2011. This event was presided over at the opening ceremony by H.E. Dr. Huy Han song, secretary of State of MoLVT and the Chair of TCC, Mr. Zhou Qun, GDM factory's director, Mr.Ly Tekheng, GMAC's operation manager, Mr. Chun Bora CBCA's Executive Director, Mr. Som Chamnan, CAMFEBA's executive director and Ms. Bindi Borg, CARE's health program coordinator. There were about 1000 workers attending this event. The aim of big health promotion isto raise awareness of reproductive health - Micro finance that available in their workplace and reminds employee-workers that AIDS is still an issue that requires attention. Strengthening Activity for Factory Education (SAFE) established in 2000 under the collaboration of CARE and GMAC to help garment industry fight against illness, especially HIV/AIDS in workplace. SAFE holds meeting in every 3 months.
